I called today and was able to tack on this deal to my existing contract, meaning that when my current contract ends in April, this new deal will automatically take effect and I will be charged $3.14/month for the subsequent 36 months.

In case it helps, when you call the agent, they will need to chat with their support team to make the changes. The program code is: MCP299FOR36SELECT

You can put a period in your same email and siriusxm will think it is a new one and you do not have to worry about making a new gmail everytime.

I got a free trial with them when I bought my last car.
Maybe I chose the wrong stations but the ones I listened to seemed to play the same songs over and over.
I can do that with my own playlists

Nope, you are describing xm perfectly. It takes about the length of a trial to realize it's not a very good service unless you want it for the live podcast shows instead of music

I chatted with customer service who changed my current plan to this offer. It took about 5 minutes. My plan was $4.50ish a month and now it is $3.17 for 36 months. That includes tax.

Thank you for sharing the deal!

I chatted with a rep who would have switched my current plan but said the radio needed to be 2015 or older.

Has anyone ever had success getting a deal for an older car and then transferring it to a newer one while keeping the same promotional rates?

You need your XM radio id. you might need to google how to find it. It's pretty easy though.
Typically, the radio ID is available on your Sirius XM radio by tuning it to one channel below Sirius XM Channel 0.

What do you mean by "get the radio id"? Is it a signal or do you find a code or number somewhere?

Usually on channel 0 or 1

Worked for me on a 2019 vehicle radio. They originally said I wasn't eligible and offered me $6/ mo for 12 months. I said, ok, I will cancel, then miraculously they found $3.19/mo for 36 mo.

This company seriusly sux. Never paid them a dime but I'm not eligible to hand them $$$ for this offer. Instead I can pay $23 per month on another "offer." Guess they want to continue getting 0 dollars from me
agreed that they suck, but you can negotiate your monthly amount pretty often with them.

I paid $4 a month for the last 12 months until i finally cancelled because they weren't going to renew me at that price.

I bought a newish car last year that came with a 3 month Siriusxm trial. Once the trial expired, I sign up for another trial offer, three month for $1 (comes to about $2.12 with tax, fees, etc,). And that's what I've been doing every three months. It's easy to do online, don't need a rep to apply the offer.

Exactly what i do with our two vehicles. You can now cancel through the website/app and don't have to chat to cancel, so it's pretty easy.. just re-enter your radio id and re-up every three months.

I have a 2021 mazda 3... My Sirius worked fine for a while and then basically crapped out. Any idea why? I had a free trial but never renewed because I couldn't get any kind of signal

Gonna skip this. After taxes and fees it will be too much for what they offer, and I'm not looking to have to fight with them for a refund when they charge me a bazillion dollars to renew for another 3 year term at full price. Haven't had SiriusXM since the furlough during the first Trump administration. I was up for renewal but furloughed and that's the time they decided to stop offering me any deals for service. Full price or nothing I was told. Walked away and haven't looked back. Music channels were terrible, Howard Stern is off half the year and I can get NFL radio broadcasts through the IHeartRadio app.

Most of the time you just need Sirius to refresh your signal to fix your problem. You can do that on their website under your account settings
