Synthetic fabrics are more durable than wool. Synthetic fabric is often mixed with wool fabric for longevity reasons (as well as cost savings). Keep in mind wool pills as it age. I'm not saying blend is the way to go, but there is a reason for blending fabrics. It's the same reason it's tough to find 100% wool socks - it's almost always blended for durability.
"Adding polyester or nylon to Merino significantly increases durability and reduces stretching/sag after several days of use."

Very snug fit, as others have said. I bought it for running, so that's fine.
I am a little disappointed by the quality. It looks and feels very nice, but it picked up visible snags and loose threads immediately--like one wearing, not washed. I'd have been outraged if I'd paid full price.
It is nice enough to run in that it's an okay deal at this price, to me.
Merino is great, but u need to be ready for cold water "delicate" mode and no dryer. I'm personally not ready for that and don't buy 100% wool anymore (unless it's an underwear)
