Sam's Club recently changed their Plus Perk of Free Shipping to Free Shipping over $50. For me, it was 8 months into my membership. My only recourse was to downgrade to the base membership (and lose all the perks) and get my $60 Plus membership back.

So these Plus perks can change whenever Sam's Club wants. FYI.

That's true, but I also believe you can cancel all the way up until just about the end of your membership year for a full refund? I've done this once, it was a few years ago and a pain in the butt cause I had to do it in-store but it did work.

Mine lapsed right before the new shipping threshold and I decided to not renew. I usually spent over $50 when I had an order shipped but occasionally I just need 1 or 2 things and wouldn't hit $50. I wish they would've just increased the price per year by like $10-15.
