I asked BestBuy and not sure if it widespread issue but my local BB showed me that their system does not have staples as a price match competitor and so can't do it.
Got a $20 Amazon gift card when I tried to price match withAmazon as I bought it at $379 with the previous deal. Just fyi, I had to ask to talk to agent to get it. Hope this helps

Same happened to me. Best Buy would not price match sadly.

They will price match Staples. I saved almost $1000 on the ROG Zephyrus laptop in June.

I have heard of Best Buy unofficialy price matching but unfortunately both Best Buy's in my area refuse to price matching but thankfully Walmart did after I ordered the watch from them.

Lucky! Tried this a few times but was told they wouldn't price match so I have to rebuy/return. Only pain is they will only do UPS pickup so I'll need to be home all day tomorrow.
