FYI : This comes with Fire TV . You will definitely need external streamer as it very slow.

I mean, $400 for a 75 inch TV is pretty cheap, 60hz isn't really a deal breaker given that it's obviously a budget/lower end TV. I believe the qm751g is still like $1000 for the 75", which is the next step up from this.

Have you set it up yet, and how do you like it? The picture I saw on the model in-store didn't impress, but I know once you get it home and adjust the settings it may be quite different. I bought one, so I'm sure hoping it looks good as this will be real crappy to return once I take it out of the box and attach it to a pedestal mount to fit on our tv stand.

I plan on plugging in my Roku Ultra rather than using the Fire os, not sure how much that will affect picture, either. I'll adjust settings on the tv itself once I get it set up, which probably won't be until after Thanksgiving.
I bought it and the picture is fantastic. The main downside I found so far is that the Apple TV streaming app glitches every 60 seconds. So I watch Apple TV by going into the prime video app which can play Apple TV content even though our Apple TV subscription is from some other means.

I always intended to use our Roku streaming stick with this TV so the fire TV interface is not a problem in any event.

600 nits HDR and a very very high native contrast make this a fantastic TV. The local dimming is a bonus but you hardly need it the native contrast is so high - probably 9000:1 !!!

The TV was already a steal at $649 - $200 cheaper than amazon q681g which is the same with googleTV - I actually bought one at $649 but found I didn't have a car large enough to take it home! Canceled the purchase, went home, and was about to mail order it for $649 when the $499 in-store sale happened! I brought a hand truck to Costco and dragged the TV home 1 mile on the sidewalk! It's my first 75-in TV and I'm coming from a 2000 nits vizio quantum x 65" with the highest color gamut of any TV ever, but I really love the 75-incher and the colors are amazing! Native contrast is MUCH HIGHER on this TV and local dimming is MUCH better on this TV!

Think of this TV as a qm7 with a few less dimmng zones and 60 Hz. Its THE 6-SERIES TV THAT MADE TCL FAMOUS. With a roku stick the costco website rating would increase from 4.1 to 4.8. Most of the bad ratings are people hating on FireTV. We already have a vizio TV so im used to 24/7 roku stick usage to avoid the vizio ui ... The only vizio button i ever hit is "tv off".

The picture is great I had to turn down the color saturation cuz it was overblown!

That's great to hear! So it's the built-in fire os that causes you a problem when watching AppleTV, right? So I should be fine with my Roku. I plan on not connecting the network on the tv at all or signing in to my Amazon account, I've seen tips on how to bypass that. I'm leaving it a dumb tv from the start, then just setting it to go to last input used and plugging in my Roku.

Wow. Great deal! Too bad I bought 75 Q6 a few months back from BB for 479. Id rather have this. But the hassle of having two small kids, a wife and living in an apartment with no large vehicle. Getting this and selling mine would be an impossibility.

Ugh. Already picked up the Roku tv 65 for $350. This seems like a better deal tho...
