The SAME EXACT TV hardware on Amazon is $949.55 (except GoogleTV vs. FireOS).
Search "site:amazon.com tcl q681g" to see what I mean !!
So if you CANNOT drag the TV home by yourself, or if it's out of stock locally, you might still be able to order it shipped to your house for $649. I did exactly that (originally), and was happy with my original price - there is nothing better for $650 in 75" !!
I recommend you use a Roku Stick 4K with the TV. The Roku can do everything from turning on the TV to switching to Roku input to streaming everything. The only thing you need the TV remote for is to turn it off. With the Roku, this is a fantastic TV.
Just to summarize - -
1. The TV is 600 nits (avg brightness of a midrange TV is 400 nits).
2. The TV has local dimming
3. The TV is a QLED
any TWO one of these features in a 75" TV will bump the price above $700, and this TV is in the $400's right now !!
- This TV is MUCH better than a TCL q651g (no local dimming, 25% dimmer screen @ 433 nits).
- This TV is MUCH better than a HiSense QD6 (no local dimming, 33% dimmer screen @ 400 nits)
I have my legs facing inwards. The distance between the foot of each leg is 37".
You can also point them outwards. I would estimate a distance to be 63" facing outwards.
The bolt-bolt distance for the legs is about 50" and each leg can stick 6.5" inwards or outwards.
To those wondering there is a long initial boot up but that's just the first time you boot up. Plus side is you do not need to sign into your Amazon account, unlike fire tablets, so the TV's UI is completely clear of any ads or thumbnails
