I have not a single time used cellular on my watch. I thought i would use it for making calls during runs, but it appears I don't really get that many texts or phone calls a day.
Strava and other exercise apps use GPS to track movement so cellular isn't even needed for that.
Only time I can think why it would be useful for me is if I got run over by a car during a run and I needed emergency services. The other use case would be to stream music while I run but I just play the music already downloaded on my watch.
Simply put it was not worth the extra initial cost + the 15 dollars a month for that extra line.

The second time it dropped from 349->329, I asked again and they did it for me.
To actually get the price match, I tried calling, chatting to no avail. Something to do with having the trade-in on the order. I was successful though, I had to go into my order and select "Cancel & Support Options" Then it started a new chat, and that chat agent was able to do the price match refund right away. Posting in case anyone else was trying to do this and not having luck. No stores in my area had in stock so that wasn't an option.
Edit: Did some research and shortly after BF, the Series 9 41mm dropped to $309. This was in the second week of December.

My net cost with series 9 trade in turned out to be roughly 39$ (MSRP 399$- 30$ trade in bonus = 369$ effective sale price - 329.99$ price match Amazon = 39.01$ net cost). No sales tax was involved in my original purchase.
