I just got the Apple Watch Series 10 GPS 42mm Rose Gold Aluminum Case with Light Blush Sport Band - S/M for the wife for at and under your $280 price point just now from Target.com for store pickup.

I had a coupon for 15% off one in-store or online purchase which was not applying so customer service manually discounted it which shows in the partial refund.

That's almost close to what I got, I had a 20% off and 5% red card. Very great deal for both of us!

I have the same question. The other watch is $150 or $180 for the bigger one. Why is this worth more than double??
The 10 is like 5+ generations ahead of the SE. they are not really comparable in terms of specs. The 10 is far more future proof. As watchOS gets updated and apps become more resource intensive, the se will likely experience performance issues far sooner if it isn't already.

No. If your Series 9 is meeting your needs, you might consider waiting for more substantial advancements in future models.

I had a 20% off in my account too. Was shocked Apple wasn't excluded in the fine print. Brought it from $329 to $263 + tax.

looking to upgrade from Series 5. I got it for $330 in 2020. I am looking to replace. I see that Apple offers trade in value of $70. Is it the best time to upgrade?

He's referring to the 2nd generation SE. it's came out 2 years before the 10. The fear mongering about not getting Apple updates is blown out of proportion. The only significant difference in the watch lineup is the watch 9. It has the blood oxygen feature no other watch has. (Apple can no longer offer it because they lost the patent lawsuit)..

The watch 10 was just released in September. There's a school of thought that the best time to upgrade would be at the beginning of a lifecycle (which is now). The value of your current watch is only going to go down

Someone convince me why I need the cellular version for $120 more. I think I do, but I'm not sure of the value at a 33% markup.

I have owned probably a dozen many watches over the years a couple with cellular and most without.

I have not a single time used cellular on my watch. I thought i would use it for making calls during runs, but it appears I don't really get that many texts or phone calls a day.

Strava and other exercise apps use GPS to track movement so cellular isn't even needed for that.

Only time I can think why it would be useful for me is if I got run over by a car during a run and I needed emergency services. The other use case would be to stream music while I run but I just play the music already downloaded on my watch.

Simply put it was not worth the extra initial cost + the 15 dollars a month for that extra line.

Do any of these places offer a good trade in for an Apple Watch series 2 or 6?

On Version that 15 became 27 after all taxes and fees that came with it.

I have Ultra 2 with cell service and paying only $7/mth for the line. Best thing I have done. I seldom carry my phone around. Great for runs & trekking. I even pair my watch with my Meta Raybans. Use my wallet on my watch to pay too.
