I think the value of this is that it is a dock that has 100W power delivery. Typically I see around 65W at lower prices around $40. I think 100W from a trusted brand name with good customer service is what prices this at $100.

I think the Stand part is really just it's form factor that gives it some value add vs other docs. I can't remember the last time I needed a monitor stand like this, though. I guess it could be nice if you are going to tuck your laptop underneath it.

As for gaining height, most monitors have decent adjustable stands. If you have $100 to throw at this, then why buy such a cheap monitor with a subpar stand? I guess if my work gave me a shitty monitor with a static stand that didn't have VESA, then I'd want a stand like this for it.

Where it lacks, though, at this price is that it only has one display out. I'd prefer to see it with at least 2 display outs. I'd also like to see a usb port that does 10Gbps instead of 5Gbps.

And why is the PD input on the side rather than the bottom like other inputs? It will create more visual clutter there than if it was appropriately placed. Why the left side and not the right side, which would be more likely preferred in practice? The power input location, right there tells me that this product could have been better thought out.

At $100, I do not recommend.
I love the pic of the poor guy on the left that has bad posture. So sad he couldn't figure out that his monitor can be raised to the same height without this $100 stand.
How many USB-C ports do those books include?

$100 for a device that has a 5gbps data transfer rate? I would rather buy a nice monitor riser and any number of hubs with better specs and mount one of those underneath. You could put something like this together for $50-$60 easily with all of the sales going on right now

It does look slick but there is no way in hell I would consider paying $100 for this let alone $150

how crazy... an advertisement for a product shows the problem it's trying to solve. is that somehow foreign to you?
I found the disgruntled Anker advertising rep!

I have the one above this model with phone charger. I use it as a dockstation at work. I set my laptop on top and monitor to the right. I can charge my phone wirelessly, tuck my wireless keyboard and mouse under, and it makes my desk look clean. And all I do when I get to work is plug my laptop in via USB c. Not attaching multiple things. It also charges the laptop so I don't have to carry that around.

Oh, cool! I saw the pic, but didn't see there were some more connections underneath. Think I'll order the one with the phone charger, which also seems to be onsale.

Could Anyone that's using this for M3/M4 iMac comment on usability of this just as a stand raise? I definitely need a stand raise but wondering if this could be used for iMac

lol, if only i got paid to point out the obvious fact that advertisements that offer a "solution" usually demonstrate the "problem" they're trying to solve; even if it's overexaggerated.

Just build your own stand with a 2x4 from HD.
I use a dining table expansion (extention?) piece I never use for the table. Allows drives, my OTHER less expensive hubs, audio interface, cables, etc to be stored underneath.
