Too bad the $49.99 price is gone. Mine also just renewed at $89.99, I thought it was expensive but looked on SD before the renewal, and it's not a bad price.

For the critics out there, if you spend more time on Instagram or TikTok than reading news, then this magazine is not for you. I just wish the article "gifting" was more generous, the recipient can only read it once, and you only get 5 gifts every 30 days.

The print version is actually a great value, it's the only way to read news these days without distractions. I also like that it's weekly, so the day to day BS of "breaking news" is not there

Don't need the print version. Any deal on online only? Was spoiled by the ~$50 per year for the last several years.

Good post, good price, even though not nearly the deal they used to offer. Which is par for the course with most remaining high-value print these days, unfortunately. Thanks

I also just got the renewal for $109, boo. Would also argue it's a great price for the content. Really fantastic publication and podcasts, and great pricing on it, though I am annoyed that the price went up almost 50% last year and another 20% this year.

Thanks, I'm tired of my renewal going up every year so I went ahead and bought 3 years renewal with paypal using my freedom flex card for 5% back as quarterly cashback incentive.

I used to be able to do this, but it was removed from my library a year ago.
I've been waiting months for this deal, super glad it finally showed up.

Great deal! I lucked out ordering a 3 year subscription in March 24 for $49.99 per year. Valid till March 27. Love the magazine!

You should check to see if your town's library has reciprocity with other libraries in your state or region. My county's library cut off a bunch of titles a while back too but I was able to find another library in my area that still carried them. I just had to give them my library # and fill out an application for a card for their system. I was able to do it all online too. In the "old days" you had to go there which in some cases wasn't worth the effort.

I just tried to do this. It says I cannot because I do not have an existing print & digital subscription (I am currently digital only through discountmags). Suggestions?
