What considerations do you have in mind regarding the versions? Is there a version to avoid? I ordered and received two sets of two. Three nodes are labeled MX4200C and one is MX4000. These are supposedly refurbs coming from Linksys. The three MX4200C have added smoothly as nodes. I haven't tried the MX4000 yet. They are physically much larger than my dual-band Atlas Pro and tri-band Wifi5 nodes.

I've ordered 3 set of 2. The software is very buggy (app features are different than the web browser), so you need to use both to setup the router. The worse part for me is that the router doesn't reconnect if there is an outage.
I've experienced a lot of the issues mentioned here:

I purchased these , excellent easiest to setup with the node , without making Linksys account . Will pair with LN1301 in AP/Bridge mode

LN1301 no question , the only difference between the two is RAM , 512MB here and 2GB in LN1301 . If you will use in AP/Bridge mode both will work same as your main router doing the heavy lifting
