Having had several of these types of keyboards, having backlit keys is an absolute necessity. Good price though if you're using them in lit spaces. Smilie

It's usable. The touchpad is horrible like everyone says, but can be usable if you're careful. I think I paid $28 for it, RIP.

For what it's worth, Staples and "Best Buy" also have it for the same price.

I have this. You would never want to use it in an office. It would be good for selecting movies on an A/V system. Takes 2 AA batteries, and not sure if they drain if you are not careful to turn the physical switch off. Don't lose the proprietary USB dongle, or it's useless.

It's a Logitech Unifying receiver, you can get another one for like, 20 bucks and resync pretty easily

The trackpad on this thing is pretty terrible, but it's really the only decent option in the market with a small form factor and keyboard/trackpad combo for use with a TV.

The keyboard is $20, buying another receiver for $20 would be pretty stupid.

These are the best for computer repairs or build and home theater pc where u just need to search for videos, etc. Battery life is like forever, literally. I have 3 of them and I don't even remember if I changed batteries yet.

Logitech use to make the best track pad keyboard that was backlit. Buuut they discontinued it because too many people liked it I guess lol.

Are there any other good ones that are backlit?

I'm pretty sure I paid the same price for this like 8 years ago. No complaints though, I'm still using it to this day. All the keys, the trackpad, and the dongle still work fine.

Rii keyboard/trackpads are really great and fit in a small bag or pocket. My go-to when I'm needing an all-in-one device. I have a few K400's also, but the backward scrolling track pad hurts my simple brain.

Also curious on better performing alternatives. I do remember another thread people talking about, I think, a Logitech K700 series keyboard that was this but better and discontinued and were ludicrously expensive on ebay.

Picked up 2 of these a few years back from Bestbuy at $17.99 each.

Works well for me.

Long drunky post, sorry. We have used multiple of these for couch PC connected to TV. The trackpad is disappointing, hardly used it. We have used a K360 with a mouse for years as replacement, much better for us. Buuuuuut, apparently Logitech discontinued the K360, we found this out quite literally 2 days ago when my teen spilled soda into it. Disassembled, cleaned, nope, dead. Surface mount on/off switch crumbled, in addition to whatever was soda-fied. Probably get a K400 on this deal, but both keyboards used to be available in the $12-$15 range. Probably take some re-getting used to, as wife plays Dead By Daylight on that computer.
