Please read the RECENT reviews before buying people are not happy suggesting a new formula with little to no bleach in it probably why it's half priced.....

For comparison I looked up the Safety Data Sheets for this product as well as CloroxPro Tilex Disinfects Instant Mildew Remover. The Cloralen indicates that there is 5% Sodium Hyprochlorite (Bleach) and the Clorox product shows 1-5%. I would guess that the Clorox product does contain 5% as well but many SDS only show a range as opposed to an actual whole number. The Cloralen product is made in Mexico. Many chemical products are made in Mexico so that is not an indicator of quality BUT all bleach products have a limited shelf life.

Over time Sodium Hypochlorite will decompose after about 6 months at the rate of 20% per year. It eventually decomposes to Sodium Chloride and water. However, I would doubt that ALEN DEL NORTE is selling products that are more than a year old. The cleaner should have a pronounced bleach odor. If it is decomposed you will not smell it at all. This is a great price for a bleach containing product and I'm in for four. If it doesn't remove mildew I'll know that they are misrepresenting their product or it is decomposed. Amazon is great about returns so it's worth ordering it and returning it at Kohl's if I need to. Spray cleaners are crazy expensive these days so I'm going to try it out.

For this price I'll add bleach, you can't even buy an empty spray bottle for this price and it makes a great filler for the 5th item on sub and save

Can confirm. I bought this last deal and it has so little bleach it barely cleans. Not worth it for me

Yup. This bottle is great for refilling with your own bleach solution.

Normal spray bottles will eventually stop working with bleach solution. Chemical resistant bottles are like +$5, and even then I still see reviews on some saying bleach solution ruined them.

I tried reusing Walmart's Great Value "Cleaner with Bleach" and that one stopped working not long after filling it with my own solution. I've refilled this bottle with a 2000 ppm solution and it's still going strong.

Agree with all statements above. Had previously ordered Cloralen laundry "bleach" from Amazon before and the order was lost. Before reordering, I looked at the shipping time and it was well over 4 weeks out so I started doing my research and found out that it was a company based in Mexico that relied heavily on "earth friendly" solutions. I figured that pretty much means my stains were going to remain where they were and my money would be wasted. Further reading on their website, they were pretty brazen to brag heavily about DEI policies. Definitely a red flag in my book as well. Cancelled the orders and never looked back. Just my thoughts.

I bought from the same deal and have had the same experience. There is a mild bleach smell but it literally is not killing mold or mildew even with scrubbing!!!

While the OP item is not available in CA, the 22 oz bottle and the 32 oz pack of 8 show available to CA.

Side note that the 8 pack is actually the best price per oz., in case you need a lot of bleach spraying bottles.

I think the biggest red flag was a product that notes bleach but makes no claims as a disinfectant. Like a lot of multi-purpose cleaners, which do have their place, this is really a product made for a bleach smell rather than a bleach result.

Good luck!

There is a reason this crap is a dollar forty. I got it on clearance at a local store for like $0.80 a bottle and I wouldn't even pay that much again.
