Here is the process for the price match with Google Store. I just did it.

Take a screenshot of the offer
Make your purchase on the Google store
Contact Support on Google Store using "Contact us", and choose price match for the topic
Inform the support person about your request and share the screenshot.
You may get the following response:
"Please be advised that a price match can be processed once your order has shipped or delivered from the Google Store. Even if the price at authorized retailers of Google store changes after your order has been shipped, we will honor the price match, provided that the lower price was active at the time you placed your order."
There would be a follow-up email to help with price match.

Can someone clarify the difference between this deal and ordering it via Google store?

Via google there's a 30% off + higher trade in value for P7.

Is it better to go Google or Amazon if I plan on trading in?

I tried to price match at Google Store Mountain view but they said this is Amazon Black Friday deal so they are not price matching. IT'S A NO at Google Mountain view retail store.

How soon did Google email you back after price match? I went through a form that sent an email, not a chat or phone call. I will update here as to whether Google can honor it and cancel my order if they won't.
