Make your purchase on the Google store
Contact Support on Google Store using "Contact us", and choose price match for the topic
Inform the support person about your request and share the screenshot.
You may get the following response:
"Please be advised that a price match can be processed once your order has shipped or delivered from the Google Store. Even if the price at authorized retailers of Google store changes after your order has been shipped, we will honor the price match, provided that the lower price was active at the time you placed your order."
There would be a follow-up email to help with price match.
Two phones ordered on two separate accounts were honored by google price match once they were shipped. Take screenshots and ask them to write in the chat and email that they will honor the price match even if the price goes up later.
Has anyone tried price matching it at a physical google store? And do they price match other colors or does it have to be the same one?
I price matched about two weeks ago when the best buy deal was going on at the Williamsburg store in NYC, so yes, they do. I'm not sure if it has to be the same color tho. Btw trade in credit is instant.
