I have this. I will give it a 2.5 stars out of 5. I have other eufy door locks (s330, e330). Other eufy door locks do not have handle and this one come with handle. I brought it because I want to have one single brand of locks around the home. It works okay. However, this lock demands a lot of battery juice. I need to replace the 8 AA battery almost every 1 or 1.5 month. Not very happy about this.

I like s330 and e330. They get the job done. The reason why we pick eufy lock is because of the video cam function. The lock combines doorbell, smart lock and video cam together. I don't think these are any brand has similar function (not 100% sure).
Pros:
  • video cam, door bell and smart lock all in one.
Cons:
  • the lock is ANSI grade 2. I wish the lock is ANSI grade 1 (like yale, schlage)
  • I have a different door bell. Some visitors are confuse whether to ring the door bell on the lock or the separate door bell
  • battery life is weak. I need to recharge the battery every 4 months or so.
  • The product positioning of s330 vs e330 are weak. I believe people are having hard time to pick between s330 and e330. In some of the use cases, you just need e330 and not s330.
  • We have a pivot door as the front door. The eufy lock is having hard time to lock and unlock because the door is not fully align. Hence, if you have a non-standard door, you may have problem with smart lock.

I had this for my garage/Kitchen entrance and it was really bad. I had to factory reset it twice ... eufy sent me a replacement ... that stopped working within 3 months. The battery kept going out within 2 months and i had to recharge it every time. Also the lock jammed up on me 3 times and had to use the manual key every time which became frustrating as I own alot of Eufy products and they all work flawlessly. I would say this was one of the worst products i used with Eufy and their customer service was great in replacing it 3 times but i gave up after 3 times and they gave me a full refund.

I ended up hiring a handyman and had him do a deadbolt above the handle door and ended up buying the eufy Smart Lock S230. i have both of the S230's on my main front door and one in the garage/kitchen entrance. The batteries last even longer now i would say 6 months with moderate use and 4-5 months with heavy use.

Btw i tried all different batteries: I use Energizer Lithium batteries and Duracell Optimum

Ok..did your panel cover started to peel as it stated in many Amazon reviews?

Also in garage i wanted to buy lever lock but since eufy lock has bad reviews,i might try aqara u300 lever lock

No, my lock does not come in contact with any of the weather elements, I have a covered porch so never had to deal with rain/snow/etc. I live in ATL, GA

yeah aqara seems the way to go
