This would be a perfect replacement for an Anker 6x USB-A port charger with the same physical profile from many years ago, but recent reviews complain about frequent disconnect/reconnect and/or heat and/or other quality issues. Anyone with first hand experience they could share? Thanks!

No 12V PD for those needing that.

"Each USB-C Supports 100W Max: When using two USB-C ports simultaneously, each can provide up to 100W of power"
Unclear how it balances beyond that

I watched a few reviews on YouTube where people tested it to the extreme (which I probably won't do), and it performed decently. They even recommended it as a better value for the price/output compared to Anker's Prime 250W charging station.
So I bought one to replace my 10yr old Anker 40W 5 port, USB-A one (which has been working strong since day one! 💪🏼)
I plan to use it as my charging station for phones, iPads, cameras, and other small devices. ( I don't charge computers, or other power-hungry devices with it). Hopefully I get another 10+ years out of this one too! 🤞🏼

Here are a couple of diagrams from Anker's website that shows the breakdown when using 4 or 6 devices:
