Do these games come with a download code? Thinking about getting the kid a digital ps5 but not sure if that restricts him to just the PlayStation store.

It may, however, if they do it like other sports games (Madden, NBA, MLB The Show) it's usually only on there until the next one is added. In this case, I'd rather spend the $30 to have it permanently.

Edit: I take that back, found one with the PS5 version for $19.99, X still $29. Good looking out though.

I should have googled first. Yes a digital ps5 does restrict you to purchase games from the PlayStation store.
