Does anyone have experience with this company? We need blinds and I have never shopped for them before. Any advice/insight would be much appreciated!

I've tried them. Obscenely priced. Was looking for a set of 5 blinds for the upper windows in our vaulted family room. Quote was for around $5k and they weren't even powered, even though that's what we wanted to be able to open/close them. Wound up going with a set of Fyrtur blinds from ikea for about $800. They're awesome. Battery powered and they last a year before needing to be recharged. Have had them for 5 years and they're perfect. Additionally, they have great smart home integration so we can open/close blinds on a schedule or using Siri.

We recently purchased from blinds.com. Had a good experience with remaking 3 of them as I got wrong while measuring. We did check this company, but it was priced on the higher side compared with other websites.

I'm giving this a shot. The main con with this company seems to be price. But comping what I need vs blinds.com this deal is cheaper.
I'll update if anything seems to go awry.

Same, ~$45 cheaper for a comparable blinds.com set with their current discounts, will give it a shot and update if things get weird.

We've been looking for blinds for our home and after hours of research we ended up settling with the orange hardware store. These discounts are barely discounts in my opinion. Both American blinds and blinds.com are overpriced for a product that's pretty much almost always pretty standard unless you get the cheapest of the cheap.

Obviously it depends and varies but for what we needed which was 2-in wood slat blinds. The orange hardware store had exactly what we needed and their prices were way better than these sales.

I think it is obscene how expensive custom blinds and curtains are. I've gotten quotes for $12k. Per square inch, they're more expensive than your oled tv. I never understood why.

12 days in and my order has "shipped" but that only means they have created the label since last Tuesday. Friday the 13th is the estimated delivery date. I'm holding my breath.
