Need to be _really_ careful when viewing the list as it goes back and forth from 1.75mm and 2.85mm.

Please don't print ABS where you live. Make sure you understand the hazards of heating a plastic material in your living space. An enclosure with carbon filter isn't enough but it is a start. Your ABS printer should be isolated from living spaces/HVAC.

Do they ever have sharp pricing on their other filaments like Sunlu and Egeloo (i.e. $10 per spool when buying multiples)? I'm staying away from ABS for now as I don't have proper ventilation where my printer is. All the other Poly rolls with the 40% coupon are $12+ per after the 40% coupon.

I'm still new to 3d printing and have never tried Polymaker. I've tried Bambu, Elegoo and Sunlu and so far, Elegoo has been the best for me.

I do a bunch in black and white PLA. Typically I go with Elegoo that runs around $11-12/roll when in a 4 pack. Looks like it is under $10 now. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BV24RX9Q

same! I heard we need good air venting since ABS is toxic while printing?

TBF, melting any plastic is (esp. once you add colorants to it). But ABS is especially bad, and smells REALLY bad.
Don't attempt it unless you have a proper enclosure + ventilation.
It also coats everything in reach with an oily goop. Bambu recommends a COMPLETE clean of their machines every 5 rolls of ABS, and even printing a few minutes of ABS causes the window on my x1c to start "fogging up". It all cleans off later with solvents, but I can't imagine getting that stuff into your lungs would be good for you.

If vented to a window using a kit does that suffice? Like if you have a Bambu lab p1s? Or would it need an additional enclosure?

Echoing what others have said. You should absolutely not be printing ABS if you're not venting directly outdoors. This is incredibly dangerous stuff and will cause permanent long term health damage. Don't fall for the activated carbon scams - either print/vent outdoors or use a different material.

Yes it is very bad and should be properly ventilated. The Bambu lab printers come with a carbon filter inside the unit but people print a bentobox which is an extra layer of ventilation to help scrub the air better so it doesn't release as much dirty air in case the one layer filter isn't sufficient enough.

Maybe a silly question, but how do you print from that? It doesn't look like it would fit on the spindle of my A1 mini? (New to this)
