Retailers shouldn't have to give their customers money to go spend at another retailer.

We can either have a $75 rebate where you can spend it anywhere you want or you can have a $100 rebate and spend it at my shop. The latter works for Apple because they have so much to offer to their customers but I can see a small shop with less than a dozen products for sale might have a hard time giving away a gc to their own small shop.

Question: if I pay for the purchase using an Apple gift card, will I still be eligible to receive the bonus gift card? Some stores are kind of stringent when it comes to promotions and purchases made with gift cards.

I find it unlikely they will price match Amazon/BB/Costco ($250 cheaper on a M3 Macbook Air), AND give you the gift card. This is a Black Friday special meant to lure uninformed buyers who won't realize they are paying more and getting less. This is not the sale you're looking for.

"getting less", Apple is likely to have higher standards securing inventory and after sales support. They will also have the "freshest" stock

For me, the Airpods 4 show a $25 GC with purchase. $179-$25 = $154 final price, which is better than the sale price that most retailers are pushing now at $169
