I've used these Bosch 12 volt tools since the early 2000s when they were first introduced. The first one I bought is still running strong. Highly recommend them.
For many homeowners, it will handle everything that they would use them for. Probably 95% for everyone else.
I bought them for my wife because they are a lot light than my ridgid 18v drivers. I tried them out and started to use them for several l tasks and they get the job done. Now she hides them from me. 😆

Me too, and these batteries work with it, even though those say 10.8 volt lithium.
The Bosch 10.8V I-Driver is the tool I have used the most for small things around the house and rentals. It has not let me down in probably 15 years!
Great tools especially for the money. Since I brought up money, the flex 24 volt kit is the same price. I have both and would take the flex 24v over the Bosch 12v. That all said, this kit is worth the hundred bucks. It is just tough to beat the flex deal if it is still going. Get both!

I have the brushless version of these for use around the house and I've used them for: furniture assembly, fence board replacement, gate hardware mounting in woods and metal, appliance repair, fan installation/light electrical, woodworking (up to 1" forstner bit in redwood, #8 screws through 3/4" hardwood plywood), and mounting TVs and earthquake straps to studs. I never once had a problem or felt the need to reach for my much heavier 20v ryobi. The only con on these is the in-handle batteries mean the grips are a bit thicker than I'd like; still comfortable but if you're coming from something like dewalt or 18v Bosch it definitely feels like a step back in ergonomics.

Great little combo however the deals that pop up for Milwaukee is worth the extra $$ due to being brushless and the drill has hammer mode so good for concrete. I have worn these out when I was a diyer, as a handyman I use my Milwaukee 10 times more and harder and they are going strong
I bought this 12v brushed kit two years ago, and it's my go-to tool because it's handy, light weight, and powerful but not too powerful, which is especially useful for indoor projects like replacing wall outlet and putting together furniture. The only downside that bothers me is lacking bits holder.
For outdoor projects like replacing deck boards, I would use 18V brushless tools.

Yeah these Bosch are good tools, but this isn't the same value today as it was years ago because there are a lot of good options. You can get a Ridgid or Flex 18V set with lifetime warranties or for $25 more the Milwaukee Fuel 12V set using the hack.
For what it's worth, I purchased these Bosch drivers a few years ago for a gift and they were $69.
One of my favorite tool purchases ever. They are perfect for 98% of the needs of an average homeowner. I've had mine for 10+ years and they're still going strong. I did buy some new batteries that popped up here on SD
I own this set as my 'inside' set for simple things around the house. I find myself using them much more than my Dewalt tools because they are lighter and more compact and have more than enough power for anything you want to do.
If I'm building a deck, I'll be busting out the Dewalt, but for hanging a shelf or replacing a single deck board, these are perfect.

Good product, not a killer value these days.
