I'd be getting this to upgrade the S7 my in-laws currently have. Their place is mostly hardwood/laminate flooring with some area rugs/carpets. But their floor can get extremely filthy (they drop stuff and don't realize it and it just gets dirty quick with them tracking stuff around). The S7 is such a PITA to maintain and the mopping doesn't even work that well. I feel like if you want to do it right you have to pre-wet the pad everytime. Emptying the dust bin is irritating too. And we're only able to do it like once every 2 weeks or more because we're not over there all the time. I'm looking for something that will do a better job and with much less maintenance. I realize the dock w/ self-emptying bin + mop station would be huge for them/their place at this point... I also don't want to spend more than necessary.
