You don't want the lite plan. Prices are absurd.

300 GB: $150 per month with AutoPay
Besides a 2week period of significant bandwidth reduction, it has been solid. I'm still on it.
I know where the tower is. It is on a commercial plot and the entire shopping center was torn down, I'm guessing they dug up the fiber and I was using a remote tower for those two weeks
I game on it, use discord, no audio lag.

Performance can also vary over time of day congestion and by device type. For example The Galaxy S24 phone can connect to double the amount of carriers as the Galaxy s22.
For many people TMHI works great, but for others it doesn't. There's ways to do some research ahead of time, but the simplest solution is just to try TMHI.
However, if you just use the internet for shows, movies, social media… it's great.
Anything that requires low ping, like multiplayer games, it's not going to be a good time.
Here's decent latency on T-Mobile home internet when I tested a long time ago before they did many upgrades in our area

Also worth noting that MetroNet fiber, which T-Mobile recently bought a venture, has the worst latency in my area. It's the only fiber option at my house, but I'm not going to count it exists it because it's on the order of 50 milliseconds best case scenario.
All that said, performance of wireless networks is hugely dependent on location and device.
