Picked one up for fast external storage on my M4 Pro MBP. I've used other Orico products with good results, so it's worth a shot for TB3/4 speeds with the SSD. And if the internal SSD fails, I can replace it with my own easily, unlike a lot of other external SSDs.

This a USB device, not Thunderbolt. It does say Thunderbolt compatible, but itself is not Thunderbolt.
