I've owned one of these for a few years and occasionally it blinks like it's losing signal - when it first started I assumed it was an nVidia driver bug. I went on a deep dive trying to find the cause and solution and found other folks who had the issue that went through the Dell support loop of connecting, reconnecting, turn it off and on routine without really getting a solution. Their end result was that it worked 100% fine as a single monitor but some combination of multiple monitors it had issues.

For me if I turn the Dell S3221QS monitor on first, then the computer then last my 2nd monitor it's generally Ok. If Dell monitor is turned on after the PC is already on it tends to have issues. The exception is even with the "correct" power on order it occasionally(about once a month) decides it's just stubbornly going to have the issue. Pulling the power cord from the back causing it to fully restart seems to fix it.
The one time it consistently has issues is if the computer goes to sleep. When it wakes up, the Dell monitor has the blinking/signal issue almost 100% of the time. Reboot the computer, and it's back to fine.

This video shows what the blink looks like, and it seems to be much more common on Macs - for me it's on a Windows PC:

The issue has kept me from swapping out my 28" 1080p monitor for another of these 32" 4k Dells.

$250 with tax then using Amex offer got another $50 off. So, $200 after tax is a steal price!

I love this monitor in an office setting, nothing overly special about this but I was in shock when this monitor started staying under $300. Our office probably has 8-10 of these, so far no issues to report.

Is this the lowest price ever for this 32' 4k curved monitor when you factor the price and the cb? Right now it seems to be 10% but I know cb could be as high as 18% but if it does get that high, the price of this probably will go up to 250 total? At the moment, this has to be the lowest price ever for it when factoring the dell coupon and the 10% cb now?

How is it compared to a regular 32' 4k monitor?

Has anyone used 2 of these and put it side by side or it's just way too big? But it's much better than say 2 32' regular 4k monitors? The curve makes it a lot better whether you are using one or two of these?

"too big" is relative. I used to run 3x30" (16:10) monitors side by side in landscape mode. Currently I use a 50" 16:9 screen as my main monitor and one of the aforementioned 30" screens in portrait mode on each side. If you have the space and you can use it, nothing is too big.

I've had this monitor for the past 4 years and it's amazing. I use it as an extension for my laptop for work and game on it once in a while and it works great. Plus this price is a steal.

How is this monitor for office/media/graphics work?
I've read some people mention curved monitors distorting text.

Why is this larger Dell monitor cheaper than the Dell 27 inch 4K at $250?

Wow thx for posting that. Have two other Dell monitors at th e office and the blink is driving me nuts sometimes. I learned to live with it but good to know there is a way to sort of get rid of it. In other words tho: I've experienced it with a completely different model of Dell monitors as well.

Is this the lowest price ever when you factor in the dell 10% coupon and the cb? CB seems to be 5% now.

I recall a cb site had dell cb as high as 18% once but many times it's been 15%. But if cb goes that high, dell probably will increase this monitor back up to at least $250?

Is this the lowest advertised price on Dell site ever? I think the lowest price ever was $250?

How is this curved monitor compared to a regular 32' 4k monitor? I have a samsung 32' 4k flat monitor uj59 but the colors is washed.

When looking throughout the monitor, it seems a bit harder when looking at the bottom corners... so would a curved monitor be better? However, I heard someone mention text looks a bit strange if it's curved monitor? Or it's complete opposite?

The other thing is say if you get two 32' 4k monitors, would this dell 32' 4k curved be better? I use a 32' 4k flat Samsung monitor in the middle and a 24' 1920x1200 monitor to the right side of it put diagonally.

Now if I had 2 of these samsung 32' 4k flat monitors, I think it would be very hard to look at it. I would put 2 monitors like an inverse v if you know what I mean. But two of these 32' 4k dell curved monitors would work for that?
