I like having no contracts and my phone is bought and paid for.
I have the 24 ultra and wife will be using the new 24+
Now it seems with Verizon and maybe all other carriers, you need to be on the highest plan to get the bill credits for a free phone. With 6 lines, I pay only $27/line for the Unlimited Welcome plan, but it offers no phone upgrade promo, so I'd have to pay full price, $800 for a new S24. If I move up to the Unlimited Plus for $42/line or Unlimited Ultimate for $52/line, it will allow me to get $800 off the S24 or $1000 for the S24+ in bill credits over 3 years. That's basically paying $540 or $900 more for each plan line over the course of 3 years, that will allow me to get the phone for "free" in bill credits, but it's really only saving $260 for the S24 or $460 for the S24+ being on the Unlimited Plus plan. You can forget about going to the Unlimited Ultimate plan, there is really no savings at all.
Do you think there will be any other phone promotions while being on the Unlimited Welcome plan with Verizon?
If I could get the phone through Walmart to get the gift card, then after I activate the phone login to my Verizon account and perform the trade-in, will the bonus offer the there of the $830? I know this works for national promos but not sure if it works with MyOffers promos. Any insight into this would be awesome!

I may be wrong but I think when there is a $999 promotion for their highest plan, there is likely $819 & $639 for the lower plans even though it's not advertised.
