Can someone tell me where can i find the trade-in option? I am not finding the trade-in option while placing the order on Walmart.
I'm perplexed too. A few of the comments made me think there isn't an option to do it online but we can take the phone to our prospective att/verizon store and do a trade in when we get it?

Wish there was a sticky on this at the beginning of the thread.

Kinda clueless with this this stuff, but if we do the installments, do the installments go towards monthly fee, or is it added on top of monthly service plan fee. Like $60 value plan becomes $90/month, or is it still $60/month and $30 goes toward phone?
The former. $60 value plan become $90/month.

yes you can use the gift card to purchase a second phone, and you only pay the tax amount at the store
You actually have the option for a non-zero down payment.

Thanks for the info. So once the esim1 of Verizon is deactivated, do you think if I call total wireless and give them the esim2 id they would be able to say if service would work?
I tried using Total Wireless's IMEI checker (Total Wireless -> Keep your own phone -> Check Compatibility -> enter IMEI2) and no joy, sorry. It gave me this result: "Our records indicate this device is locked. Currently, we only support activations for unlocked devices. Please make sure your device is unlocked, and try again."

Is the only way to get the verizon activation fee waived if you are cancelling within 3 days of ordering? I was planning on keeping the phone for 3 months and then porting out to tmobile to take advantage of their $800/line switch promo, but obv would like to avoid verizons activation fee if possible.
Their system intentionally checks wrongly to see if you can get the activation fee waived by counting days wrong. If you ordered the phone from Walmart on Monday at 11:59pm, and then contacted them to cancel your account on Thursday at 12:01am (meaning that 2 days and 2 minutes had passed), then their system would automatically say "You've had the service for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, which is 4 days, so you have to pay the $35 activation fee". My CSR said that they would put in a $35 adjustment anyway, which I guess is something you have to ask for and hope that the answer is yes.

I seriously doubt that you could get them to waive the activation fee after having service with them for 3 months.

Just a followup:

Was able to close the Vz account last night. Phone #1 is now showing Flex per sickw. Final bill shows <$10 per vz.com

Could not get a 2nd order to process with existing account, so I signed up as a "new" account with a different "home" phone number and email (but same account name and SSN). So far, no cancellation email and it's been more than an hour. Holding breath until order shows preparing per walmart.com. Hoping it's just BF backup in the system.

For others that have had their orders cancelled - how long did it take for you to get notified?
Can you clarify? You activated your phone with Verizon, it went to 2387 Verizon Locked Policy on Sickw, then you cancelled with Verizon and it switched back to 4000 Reseller flex policy? Is that what happened?

If i decide to return the phone. Does Verizon 30 day return period applicable? I think if we are not satisfied in 30 days you can return phone and service at no cost

Also, can we return to verizon store?
I did this once with ATT as my iphone was defective overheats instantly after putting in charge. I received the full refund in store. The phone was purchased previous day from target along $300 GC back deal. $300 GC was never reversed by target.

Can someone please share the steps for ATT? Few questions

1. Does ATT prorate the monthly plan fee after cancellation?
2. Does ATT refund or cancel activation fee if plan is cancelled within 3 days?
3. How to pay off the iPhone?
4. Does the iPhone unlock automatically after 60 days - if the plan is cancelled?

So are you saying for these deals, the return should be taken to the provider's store (AT&T in my case) and they will refund the sales tax that I paid to Walmart and cancel the installment plan and the line? Anyone have experience returning these? (I ordered an iPhone 14 from the earlier Walmart deal but this is a better one, so would like to return the 14).

Probably discussed somewhere on this thread, but it is so long…
1. How do I use Walmart Gift card if I'm not shopping there much? Can I convert it into say Amazon gift card?
2. Would switching from Verizon prepaid to Verizon count for this gift card promo?
3. Any thoughts on using walmart to buy new phone (with walmart gift card) and Best Buy for trade in? BBY seem to give highest non-bill-credit trade in value for my 12 Pro.
