I'm had the same issues. I was in the phone for over an hour. And I also have to wait a year. 1/27/2025.
You really need to read the information provided. Unless there's something wrong it shouldn't take 10 minutes to activate online.
Unlock is 60 days, it's been the policy for 3 years and is available online for everyone to read -
Unlock date of 1/27/25 is waiting a year??

Two/account but you can open more than 1 account, it goes by email.
I ordered one under my name. I ordered a second one with a different name , different email and same address. I tried to order a 3rd one by adding a line under my name and they canceled it. I think it may be per address

REMINDER! DONT BE AN IDIOT LIKE ME!

If you get the phone, even though the packaging says Total by Verizon, they're both own by Verizon, and the first website the little booklet tells you to go to register your phone is Total, don't do it. Register on Straight Talk or else you'll have to pay for another month again or deal with their horrible customer service to get your phone back on straight talk and activate the month you paid for.

There are no refunds so you'll be screwed. I know its a simple thing but I got too excited and activated my phone on Total without a second thought and it was making me pay for another month since it's another company. I had them switch from Total to straight talk but customer service was bad. They kept wanting me to pay for the month I had already paid for. They kept asking for a plan card that suppsedly came with the phone (it doesn't, when you register the phone on straight talk your plan automatically activates with no extra code). Took me about 5 hours of talking to different people until one person actually helped and fixed it.

Trying to activate on phone. Customer care rep is looking for $45 card that should have come with the box but it did not. IPhone just got shipped with a physical SIM card. They want me to pay more to activate line. Still looking for a solution.

There isn't a code. When you activate the phone on the straight talk website whatever plan you bought automatically activates on your account. No extra code needed

Can we order 2 phones under one order or do they need to separate orders, but can use the first account to order the 2nd one?

You did something wrong obviously. The SIM card pamphlet had directions to activate on Straight Talk site. User error and you blame Straight Talk..SMH
After 4 hours, I got the phone activated. I insisted ST explain the problem and they said there was a glitch in their system so the phone and plan I paid for was never put in their system. Even if I did something wrong which I'm was told I didn't, it shouldn't have taken 12 transfers and 4 hours to resolve.

Finally, customer care rep was able to add the $45 plan manually. She said their system is not recognising any prepaid minutes/plan associated with the order number. They looked up the order number online and had to activate with $45 plan manually.

It's very useful to read the instructions before proceeding.
to be fair, the instructions do say that you need to put the sim card in the phone?.... yet ppl have said that you don't actually have to do this. you just have to activate it and then confirm the unlock date on the website. [some ppl wanted to give as gift and not open it but still unlock it]. i think the whole point of putting the sim card in the phone is to make sure that it can make calls and that everything activated properly on their side. i'm guessing some times something goes wrong in their system and this is a way to make sure nothing did.
