Used edge with ms shopping which was 15% back last time. Bought 2 and showing $30 back pending on both transactions. It's 12% now and seems the best deal available.
I had chase offers on both freedom unlimited and CSR for 25% back capped at $15. Those both qualified so $45 cb plus standard cb from credit cards combined. I see the chase offers are back on both of those cards for me now; almost tempted to try and buy 2 more.
Received both phones, they will come with SIM card and instructions taped to back of iPhone box. Follow instructions which include going to straight talk activation website and inserting the sim. The silver, or whichever plan you choose, is tied to the sim and you will see a message to that effect when completing activation on the website. Once activated, text UNLOCK to 611611 twice and you will receive a response that lists the unlock date. You only have to pay 1 month of service and the device will unlock 60 days post activation.

People have been trying to activate on wrong network and once info is entered it screws up the database & requires intervention from support.
Most users can activate online in just a few minutes when they follow instructions. If something is wrong and it doesn't work then yes it can take a while to get fixed - but majority don't have any problem.

My question is there is no phone service after 30 days so how do I text to unlock? Do I put in another sims card from a different carrier and then text to un-lock phone?

IPhones unlock automatically, info is in thread.
If you get the phone, even thought the packaging says Total by Verizon, they're both own by Verizon, and the first website the little booklet tells you to go to register your phone is Total, don't do it. Register on Straight Talk or else you'll have to pay for another month again or deal with their horrible costumer service to get your phone back on straight talk and activate the month you paid for.
There are no refunds so you'll be screwed. I know its a simple thing but I got too excited and activated my phone on Total without a second thought and it was making me pay for another month since it's another company. I had them switch from Total to straight talk but customer service was bad. They kept wanting me to pay for the month I had already paid for. They kept asking for a plan card that suppsedly came with the phone (it doesn't, when you register the phone on straight talk your plan automatically activated with no extra code). Took me about 5 hours of talking to different people until one person actually helped and fixed it.
