This works, but needs a ton of elbow grease and time for all the sanding steps. Be prepared for extremely sore arms (and legs too since you'll likely be squatting or bending down to the level of your headlights). Don't let the reviews fool you into thinking this is easy.
(The above is assuming you go with just what's in the kit. If you have a sanding/polishing attachment with a power drill, then that's a completely different story, but those don't come with the kit.)
Also, the final step with applying the clear coat is extremely unforgiving. It's hard to get it perfectly smooth, you basically only have 1 shot at it, and you need to apply the clear coat really quickly.
Again, this absolutely does work and it's a huge money saver doing it yourself, but next time, I'll probably just pay someone else to do it.

I attempted to use this kit, but it didn't work well. I still had a leftover 3M drill kit sanding disks from another job and I used the remaining Sylvania UV protector liquid. It performed way better.
