Keyboardless game streaming is my usage case. On occasion, I use it as a secondary screen for my cockpit instruments on my flight simulator.
If you've read a couple threads, you'll already have seen more than a few threads about Samsung pulling some shady stuff with mint condition trades by slickdeals members getting turned down for manufactured, completely BS reasons.
This happened to me as well. Fortunately I took pictures, videos, and did a chat with order support BEFORE even placing my order and got a reference number I could refer back to stating my device met trade in criteria. This didn't stop Samsung from trying to pull a fast one. They declared my device as "failure to power on," and I was able to get a supervisor to look at the unpackacging video where they saw that the trade-in partner didn't even press the power button. Even at that, it took numerous "escalations" that were at first not documented, and later even if documented lead no where. I filed a paypal dispute, and fortunately paypal sided with me and advised me that I had won the dispute (1st time paypal has actually been useful). 5 minutes later I got an email from Samsung stating I would be receiving a refund on the chargeback. This has taken the better part of a week.
So for those of you who might have had to deal with this, don't give up. For those of you who want a good deal, document like hell.
Similar happened to me. I sent in my tablet in good condition and got an email saying the screen was cracked. I sent them the photos and videos of me packaging and working and undamaged tablet. They issued me the refund after that. Lol
Is it worth it to trade in a s9 that i just got from Amazon for $150 to get the s10 ultra ?
The standard S9 will cost quite a bit more to upgrade but sure. I really like my ultra.
Hahaha gotcha. Good thing. Didn't realize I got the a9 saved me the headache.....😆
