I've been looking at this switch, it went up a bit last month to $22, now it's back to 16.99.
I wonder if it will drop further on cyber Monday.

excellent switch for Fiber users. You want this plugged in regardless of what wifi router you use, since it pretty much fixes the issue ATT has with NAT tables

Sorry, Does this hard wire Ethernet from my router output. Is there an Ethernet in jack I just see 8 outs. I need more outputs than the back of my router offers

1 port is uplink (auto detects), 7 usable ports.

Great deal on this Wifi 7 mesh system. If you're a Costco member and need a third node, you can grab the 3 pack for $399.99 from Costco.

I'm really struggling to understand what you meant by this sentence, but I want to understand, and hopefully we can all learn something.
A non-managed switch has nothing to do with NAT tables. This switch can't "fix" anything other than function as additional ports for wired devices.
Can you explain what you mean?

This statement doesn't make sense at all. Switches do NOT do any kind of NAT. Routers do.

Anyone see any 8 port 2.5g switch deals? Been looking constantly since wednesday; nothing for anything made by a decent brand.

I am speaking from my own personal use case. Using this switch completely solved my NAT table issues with bg320 at&t fiber router. Wan > switch > router

I can confirm that when I check the at&t gateway and the actual wifi router it is no longer double NAT

also xbox connected to the switch no nat issues, connected to att gateway or router, nat issues
A switch can't possibly solve any NAT issue. Switches literally know nothing about NAT. NAT happens in your gateway/router, switches don't affect it in any way, nor would they be able to have any clue. Maybe you had a MAC address table being too small, but I don't think a switch would help with this either because you still have the same number of MAC addresses (plus one more)...

Double NAT is indeed not good, and that happens when you connect a router to a router. Normally you'd change the ISP provided router into bridge mode, or you use the ISP provided router and get rid of your own router behind it. Sounds like this may have been your problem. Sounds like you had your own router behind the ISP router and you swapped it with this switch. That would get rid of a double NAT indeed. But that's not really a NAT issue, it's a bad setup.

Excellent switch. Been using one for the last 7 years or so with zero issue.
