If a 1kwh battery only lasted 3-4 hours, that means your refrigerator is pulling down ~5kwh a day (after inverter efficiency losses). Something is wrong with it, or it is very very old.

This thing keeps getting cheaper. They must have an insane amount of inventory they're trying to clean. I got it for $389 with a free 100 earlier, but this is by far the best price if you only want or need the 1000.

LOL man. Just because your fridge is only getting 3-4 hrs doesn't mean others are getting are getting that.
My full size LG 26 cubic ft usually takes about 2.2 to 2.4kwh per day.
Me by saying 1070wh ~8hr is on the safe side.
I actually have a watt meter running on my fridge right now.
It's at 2.0164 kwh on 23h3min.

Well you're kind of accusing me of the same thing. Just because yours last that long doesn't mean others will? I suppose the lesson here is it depends. I actually hooked up my fridge to a C1000 and actually tested it out and when it's actively cooling it will only last 3-4 hours. I'm not counting when it's not cooling. Like I said in my first post when it's not actively cooling it uses close to 0w. Mine draws about 300w during cooling and searching on Google it seems most fridges do the same. My fridge is a GE that came with the house and the house was built in 2016. So the fridge is like a 2016 model around there. Also I'm in Texas and I don't turn on central cooling. I only cool one room at a time (the one I'm working in or sleeping in). My fridge likely is working a lot harder than yours due to the ambient temps. Also, mine doesn't cycle in and out frequently per hour but does it per blocks. So in 1 hour it may not turn on cooling at all. But when it does cool it cools for a fairly long period. Anyhow my real world experience with a Solix C1000 was 3-4 hours during active cooling (tested in Texas summer under the conditions I mentioned above).

What is the day to day application outside of camping?
None that I can think of.

I have two Bluetti ones (1500wh & 750wh) and I only have used them for camping for weeks on end. Rest of the year they sit in a box, checked every 6 months.

If we had a power failure I could use one to run something, but in the last many years our longest power failure has been 1 hour and I find something else to do during that time.

Non-returnable? What if it's DOA and goes kaput when it arrives? Am I buying a questionable brick?
"if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement through Your Orders by providing an image of the item and its defects." - Amazon when you hover over "Non-returnable" on desktop

This can' be used as a UPS right?
The reviews I saw said yes as it does power passthrough, but it was 20ms changeover which a bit of the longer side.

Very annoying that you can't return it when there's been a $50 price drop before you even received it.

Amazon should make that clear when buying from them. Amazons return policy is a major reason to buy from them.

Whose price protection policy are you referring to because I bought it 10 days ago when it was $50 more? Is that Jackery's policy and if so where can I find it? Thank you!

How does this deal compare to the Anker C1000 for $450?

Can I use this to power a router and a computer? My family cabin finally got WiFi, but no cell service. Electricity is unreliable. Having router and computer will at least let me and family to file a power outage report without leaving the house.

I have this ordered with the free explorer 100 for $400. Would I be able to return the explorer 100 once delivered and then only pay $326 for the 1000 explorer? Or would they erase the entire promo? If so then maybe this is the better deal if I don't need the 100
I was wondering the same thing, except (unfortunately) in my case my order just shipped; guess I'll have to figure out how to make the best usage of the Explorer 100...

Yes, I figure it's an overkill. I was thinking about the Anker C300 but at the price point, this is maybe more cost effective?

Paid $70 more for the prime day "deal" and return window closed a week ago. What a joke.

It's jackery's policy. It's listed in the amazon description so I think it would be honored even buying through Amazon. Just contact Jackery not Amazon.

What would I need to hook the other Slickdeal (2 x200w solar panels) to this?

Thanks, total newb on this stuff, but maybe with everyone shouting WWIII, having some portable power makes sense.
Did you figure this out? Seems like a bunch of us has solar panels without a battery to charge 😂
