If a 1kwh battery only lasted 3-4 hours, that means your refrigerator is pulling down ~5kwh a day (after inverter efficiency losses). Something is wrong with it, or it is very very old.

This thing keeps getting cheaper. They must have an insane amount of inventory they're trying to clean. I got it for $389 with a free 100 earlier, but this is by far the best price if you only want or need the 1000.

Well you're kind of accusing me of the same thing. Just because yours last that long doesn't mean others will? I suppose the lesson here is it depends. I actually hooked up my fridge to a C1000 and actually tested it out and when it's actively cooling it will only last 3-4 hours. I'm not counting when it's not cooling. Like I said in my first post when it's not actively cooling it uses close to 0w. Mine draws about 300w during cooling and searching on Google it seems most fridges do the same. My fridge is a GE that came with the house and the house was built in 2016. So the fridge is like a 2016 model around there. Also I'm in Texas and I don't turn on central cooling. I only cool one room at a time (the one I'm working in or sleeping in). My fridge likely is working a lot harder than yours due to the ambient temps. Also, mine doesn't cycle in and out frequently per hour but does it per blocks. So in 1 hour it may not turn on cooling at all. But when it does cool it cools for a fairly long period. Anyhow my real world experience with a Solix C1000 was 3-4 hours during active cooling (tested in Texas summer under the conditions I mentioned above).
Ummm....NO.
Because somebody asked how many hours can you get with this this unit and I gave him my real result answer.
But you had to jump in and say "more like 3-4 hrs" which is basically saying I'm wrong.
If you had just say I only get 3-4 hrs on mine then your results would be different from mine instead of contradicting my answer.

Sorry but there's something wrong with your fridge if you're only getting 3-4 hrs.
Most full size fridges don't use anywhere near that.
I have 2 full size fridges and the one siting in the garage uses more because of the heat but still close to the "8 hrs give or take".
Most people full size fridge sits inside the house so it's gonna be around 8 hrs.
I have 2 energy measured plugs in both of my fridges so my answer is accurate.
Your 3-4 hrs is an outlier. That's not the norm for a full size fridge.

Agreed. I measured a few fridges from new to old for a full month of usage and they averaged 1-3 kWh a day.

Strange, they have no problem shipping it TO you...and Amazon has loads of returns infrastructure. Seems lazy to me.
The additional scrutiny for returns isn't laziness, but a critical safety precaution to prevent potential fire or transportation hazards.

From the factory the batteries are packaged inside the box in a known state and are in optimal conditions. There's been no prior stress or potential damage before shipping From the customer, the batteries may have been damaged, mishandled, an unknown charge state and unknown battery integrity. The risk of thermal runaway increases with each of these unknowns.

What would I need to hook the other Slickdeal (2 x200w solar panels) to this?

Thanks, total newb on this stuff, but maybe with everyone shouting WWIII, having some portable power makes sense.

The input connector is a DC8020. You will need an adapter from what your panels have to DC8020. (I bought bare pig tails to DC8020) You will need to look up max voltage, but I think it is around 60V so it would be two 21.5v panels in series on each port. But, read the manual.

I bought one about a week ago for $403. I just contacted Jackery customer service through Amazon for a price adjustment. They were quick to respond and will refund the difference of $54.

Can I use this to power a router and a computer? My family cabin finally got WiFi, but no cell service. Electricity is unreliable. Having router and computer will at least let me and family to file a power outage report without leaving the house.

That is a great use for it. It also has power passthrough which means you can leave your equipment plugged in. It will automatically switch to batter power when needed. They say less than 20ms switching. I'm guessing most of the time what you describe will not reboot during the process.

They denied my price adjustment, won't be buying from them again.

I have 2 fridges that I monitor power usage for. Each one averages 1.4 kWh per day.

It's jackery's policy. It's listed in the amazon description so I think it would be honored even buying through Amazon. Just contact Jackery not Amazon.
Thank you! I did apply for a $5.00 pricematch the very next day after purchasing which they said they would give me but it never got posted. So I contacted them again for the current $50 more off the price so hopefully they will pricematch and if they do, I just may purchase another because I love the lighter weight compared to my Bluetti ac180.

Same. Originally asked for the benefit item but if not just the price adjustment and they credited me.
