I'm going to be honest. This deal has a much better motherboard, but for a 7600x build, what I'm linking below for $100 less with slightly better memory seems like the way to go.

Agreed, if you dont plan on upgrading beyond the 7600x. Plenty of reviews say that board is not only notoriously limited in many different ways, including having a relatively high failure rate, it also cant adequately support more than 8 core CPUs. Dont know the specifics as to why, so do your own research for more details.

I too would opt for the better mobo deals... which is why I opted to go for an am4 build... it seems like a lot of the newer boards are getting rid of toslink which I prefer. I decided to cheap out in favor of plenty of sata ports for my wreckage of aging sata devices and clean digital audio

I can't replicate this deal.
I picked cpu, picked mobo, added them to cart and i'm getting only SSD. It's not adding ram and total cost comes out to $439.98. With coupon it comes out to $409.98
But that ram is ~$100 extra

3.5 inch mechanical SATA drives are still the cheapest way to add a lot of storage. Keep the OS in NVME and large data in mechanical and reap the benefits of a fast PC coupled with 8 Tb storage on the cheap. Yea this motherboard is mismatched with the Ryzen 5. Still have an AM4 build. After checking out all the information I really have no incentive to upgrade just yet, though 300 for the previous combo deal was tempting (motherboard, 7600X, SSD, RAM). I don't plan on buying any GPU in the 500 dollar range as I feel it only gives diminishing returns vs a good one on discount for around 200 and for that the ryzen 5600 is still plenty strong to run. Everything still runs lightning fast for all the applications so very happy still with my AM4 build. Perhaps next year will be better to upgrade once the new motherboards with support for above 10000 RAM are released (CUDIMM, MRDIMM)

The promotion on the mobo expired, so no ram
