FYI : Once the phone is ordered with trade-in, the promotion should show up at your TMO Account promotions [t-mobile.com] page within a couple of days.
Limit: For those wondering if there is a maximum number of phone lines per account that can be upgraded through this promo, it seems it's 4 per account (as confirmed by T-Mobile rep).

That's impossible, how can I mail it and have them receive it the next day? They should have an expiration date at least a week or two away, so that I can first receive and activate the new Pixel 9, copy stuff over (if needed), delete all my personal info from the Pixel 6 ("You will remove all Device data and personal information, passwords, security software, or user locks."), then ship it to them and leave time for shipping carrier to get it to them.
So I reluctantly backed out at the final step.
What's next?
Once that cool new device is in your hands, get started on these important next steps.
Trade in your old device
Once your new Pixel 9 Pro ships, you'll have 30 days to send back your current Google GVU6C Pixel 7 5G 128GB White - T-Mobile in good condition to retain your promotional value of $800.00.

Have a Pixel 7, trade in value via T Mobile is $110
Want the P9P, value is $1000 at T Mobile
I'm currently with Mint Mobile and plan is ending soon, great time to switch.
If I port in my current number at T Mobile and select the Go5G Plus plan ($90/mo)
Then I get the phone "for free" and have to stick with T Mobile for 2 years paying $90/mo to stay on the Go5G Plus plan.
OR
I could do the Google Store deal with that 30% coupon, get an unlocked P9P and continue using the much cheaper Mint Mobile for $30/mo for unlimited, although I think that wouldn't be the 256GB model if going through Google Store.

1. Sell it anyway, as T-mobile locked
2. Use it as a trade-in to another promotion where the network lock doesn't matter
Note, I haven't tried either of these yet myself, but I'm pretty sure neither one of these would stop the credits.
Is there still any way to take advantage of this promo if upgraded and traded in my device in September?
They could only offer me $100 Costco Cash card and the trade-in value on my phone 🙁
