That's impossible, how can I mail it and have them receive it the next day? They should have an expiration date at least a week or two away, so that I can first receive and activate the new Pixel 9, copy stuff over (if needed), delete all my personal info from the Pixel 6 ("You will remove all Device data and personal information, passwords, security software, or user locks."), then ship it to them and leave time for shipping carrier to get it to them.
So I reluctantly backed out at the final step.

You will be paying $200 more and since it's more expensive you will also pay about $20 more in taxes. I doubt your phone will be worth 200 more than a regular one when you decide to sell it.

Ah OK, I see. Yeah if they are the same price I'd say the bigger screen on the XL is more desirable for resale.
Reason I ask is if I order my swappa phone now I might not get the IMEI in time to use to make the order originally, so I might just fill it in with my actual Pixel 6 (with a broken screen) in the meantime.

Others have posted that you can call them and get the IMEI changed after the fact and that as long as you're sending in the same model phone in the same condition as what you stated then you'll be fine. Personally, I wouldn't chance it. I wouldn't want to give them any excuse to decline the trade-in and negate the deal.

Other than size, its a no brainer since the XL is $200 off right now making it the same price as the Pro regular but has faster wired charging and a larger battery (and obviously larger screen).
