I have a Pixel 6 to trade in that I bought from T-Mobile 3 years ago, so the website already has the IMEI. I went all the way through the checkout process, everything looked good. But then I carefully read the Trade In Terms document. It said the Trade In expires on 11/23/2024 (tomorrow). If you then click on the link in that document that takes you to https://www.t-mobile.com/commerce...d-t-c.html , it says "If you fail to return your Device by the trade-in expiration date, you may be required to pay back any value or credit advanced to you." It also says "...if you sell your Device online or over the phone, we will honor the Offer Price if: (1) your Device is received by us by the Offer Price trade-in expiration date."
That's impossible, how can I mail it and have them receive it the next day? They should have an expiration date at least a week or two away, so that I can first receive and activate the new Pixel 9, copy stuff over (if needed), delete all my personal info from the Pixel 6 ("You will remove all Device data and personal information, passwords, security software, or user locks."), then ship it to them and leave time for shipping carrier to get it to them.
So I reluctantly backed out at the final step.

Has anyone used one of these "magsafe" cases? Do they actually work and make a standard magsafe charger wirelessly charge a pixel? If so, I didn't even know that was a thing.

If the trade in is rejected. Do we loose all the 800 credit or just the phone value? Just prepping for the risk of buying someone these phones for trade in.

How is last decemeber is 2022? I said the phone model was edge 2022 but it was 11 months ago. In 2022 was another promo. In 2021 was another and so in 2020. We are now in 2024 - another promo, so yeah every year.
Just so you know a lot of times tmobile reps will tell you this promo will not apply for u and that's not correct.

I can confirm it still works. I just did it. Just had to pay $58 tax (Im in CA). Trading in a Samsung s10e.

Upgrade my device.
Plan: Go 5G Military

Im on simple choice. I did call costco tmobile, it's was 1h 53min of countless upsales. The guy was nice and very chatty, $35 waived, and $100 costco gift card coming sometime in march. At the end he said they were not supposed to honor this promo over the phone because it's exclusive for tmobile online or app BUT as an exception because the app was keep crashing (that's what I said) he helped me (he had to get ok from the supervisor).
Just fiy, he sounded very knowledgeable , not his first year with tmobile BUT he insisted that promos from previous years will not let him add 4 phones, only 1. I tried to explain to him (and all other tmobile reps EVERY year) if he would do it 1 by one 1 they will stock up. He said it not possible. While I was on the phone with him, my husband added the other 3 phones online (one by one) without any problems. I didn't want to argue with him or hang up and go another 2h wiht another rep. So whatever.
We have been doing it for like 5 years. We have 8 lines and each line have like 2-3 promos. Our bill never changed. $120 plus taxes. Online system doesn't lie. If this promo works for your plan it will apply. If it doesn't, then it will not. The trick is go one at the time and dont listen to tmobile reps too much and try it youself. Hope it helps
