I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

One plan, able to trade in 2 Pxl Pro XL using IP12 from metro, no activation fees but tax on pre-credit which is around $80 for Texas + $8/month after credit for 24 months = $280 + $75 (IP12) comes out to be $350 total for a 1K phone. Hopefully some days T-mobile will do this for IP16. Thanks OP.

No need to switch your plans or add a line. I was able to upgrade two lines with just paying taxes and I'm also on Simple Choice.

They are able to unlock with so escalation for that exact reason as long as payments are being made.Talk to them.

In the past. Lot of reddit posts complaining about the policy change recently. I guess she'll only be using the tmo international roaming feature though so it's a moot point.
