I paid the ~$600? at launch, also had the PSVR1, the Quest, Quest 2 and Quest 3 before that..
It's nice to have, but most of the games for it have been a little bit of a letdown (and with them being $40/50/60 now, it hurts even harder). I've been playing the Quest 3 more. I found the best games for it were previously 2D games that ended up getting a VR upgrade (Resident Evil 4 remake, Resident evil 8, Gran turismo)
I do like the controllers and the OLED screens.. but the fact it needs to be tethered to a PS5 is a bit annoying, the older style fresnel lenses are a letdown as well. The fact it uses a black and white passthrough is also a bummer, as the Quest 3's color passthru does a great job with mixed reality.
At $350, it's worth it for big VR Fans. I just don't have a whole lot of hope for future games.. but if you don't mind being tethered, it seems to work the best for multi platform games.
Quest 3/3S has more exclusives such as Super Hot, Batman, Lego, Asgard's Wrath. It is also completely wireless, and for games like Super Hot it helps considerably with immersion. I prefer playing fitness games on the quest. BodyCombat, or Super Natural (another exclusive) play better since wires don't get in the way. The passthrough is in color and does a better job than PSVR 2. It's portable, you can bring this on trips if you game on the go or want a portable workout during travel.
PSVR 2 graphics are generally better and there are a couple games you cannot get on Quest 3 like Horizon, Synapse, GT7. The controllers for PSVR 2 are more immersive with adaptive triggers. Games like Beat Saber and Pistol Whip I prefer playing because of the frame rate, graphical enhancements, and tracking is better. There's also unique features on PSVR 2 such as eye tracking, that is used for games like Synapse.

With that said, for the few unique experiences this has, it's a nice product. It's comfortable, the controllers work great, and if you like racing games, then you're in luck with this. GT7 is amazing in VR.
The Quest 3 has a lot going for it, too. I would expect better support and a bigger library of games optimized well for the hardware. With that said, full console games in VR are superior to the experiences you typically find on the Quest. If you're choosing between them, most will probably prefer the Quest because it just has so much more stuff to do.
It's disappointing that Sony so quickly abandoned this product. I don't even know why they offered it, honestly. They didn't plan well for it, didn't market it well, and then didn't support it.
