FYI: newer Samsung TVs have the Hue Sync app available natively on the TV. No sync box required, and it can sync content from the TV itself, too (sync box doesn't do that).

I had the 1st gen sync box and ditched it this year when I got a new TV that supports 4K/120. Sync app on the TV works great.

Downside is the app is $3/mo or $130 one-time. Still cheaper than the external box, though.

I don't have the sync box. Works fantastic and I'm not planning on getting it due to the myriad of complaints from others.

How do you use this on your TV without a sync box?

Very stupid. If your AVR supports duel HDMI output, use the secondary HDMI for the sync box and then 4k or 6k does not matter.

But this is a good price, paid under 200 for the 75 inch with coupons/cashback from dell earlier in the year and it is great

Beware that these lights tend to be on heavier side. Could damage your TV depending on how you use the 3M placeholders

I was not a fan of the lights seem to give me a headache, I have it sitting in the closet. But Don't get me wrong definitely a very cool product but more novelty than every day use.

So what colors does it display? You have to manually pick them?

75inch is currently $239 at dell. At amazon it's $295 right now. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/p...lsrc=aw.ds
