You should be able to 'upgrade' to the ad-free plan after subscribing with the promotion. I'm pretty confident they charge you monthly the price difference ($6.00 extra) and by doing it this way you can contact support at any time to downgrade back to the regular Premium you already pre-paid for (if you ever change your mind).

You pay the $20 one time, afterwards contact support and they'll upgrade you to premium plus which then charges you $6 on monthly basis.

Signed up for Instacart even though I don't need it. I was immediately offered a 2 week trial of Instacart+ without any credit card info which I accepted.

In my Instacart+ account settings page I saw the one year free Peacock Premium offer and activated it.

I am going to cancel Instacart+ in the next few days and hopefully the one year free Peacock Premium stays on.

Started watching a show and in a 20 min episode I got 4 ad breaks. First 2 were 60 secs each and the next 2 were 90 secs each.

Not worth paying $20 for this ad crap.

The title really should say the nane of peacock plan. Peacock offers multiple plans. It is malpractice by the OP to not include the name of plan for that price.

With the name provided, then the slick deals community can determine what type of plan it is

What will you do when that 6 months is up? The Black Friday special for a year will be gone by then. You'll have to re-subscribe at full price, or cancel outright.

If you don't like ads, then setup a piHole on your network. Peacock is one of the only paid streaming services that pihole can filter out the ads. It works on some free on demand streaming services too like Freevee and Tubi, but not Pluto.
