The similar pre-11/25 promo mentioned a ridiculous ~$20 (setup?) fee in the fine print. That's the first time I've ever seen such a fee mentioned in any of their promos and it effectively doubled the price.

I'm holding out for the 11/25 deal in hopes that this fee was a one-time money grab which failed so spectacularly that they'll never try it again.

But, it's something to look out for in the fine print and to keep a close eye on at checkout, when this deal posts officially.

Black Friday's on the 28th in 2025 and the previous Monday's on the 24th.

So, it's a good idea to sign up for this deal right on the 25th, meaning that your yearly subscription will likely end in time to get in on next year's promos (if they require you to be a non-subscriber).

I have a Pi Hole setup and I still get commercials on Tubi. Have you tried Tubi recently? I'll give it a try on Peacock tomorrow after I subscribe.
