ads on peacock are pretty bad for shows but not for movies. They seem to front load movies, but shows have constant interruptions.

My previous sub expired today and I was just able to resubscribe with this deal. Not my top streaming service but for $20 for a year it's worth keeping around.

Edit. I do have a piHole so don't see much ads even in this tier.

As for the programming, It's all universal NBC content. They have a lot of 4K content. Movies have approximately 3 minutes of ads at the beginning of the film before it even starts. After that there are no ads in the movie.

TV shows have ads in the beginning and throughout the TV show.

I only watched movies with peacock. Since I don't like sitting through ads

I thought the quality was very good. Excellent streaming quality.

Probably a credit card authorization charge. They're usually test transactions to ensure a charge can be made to a card (that it's valid and not maxed out). It's just an authorization and it will never actually post to the account meaning it will just drop off your balance. I'm assuming that's what it is.

Not using firestick. But Atmos works via peacock app on a 2021 samsung tv. Interface lags alot though compared to others apps.
