Be wise. Always check the price of replacement toner slash ink cartridges before purchasing a printer. Over the life of the printer your toner is going to cost you more, than the printer itself.
edit: This printer seems reasonable for replacement toner.
Yeah. I have hobbies which I need labeling. I did pull the trigger on this. My Brother is driving us insane. Always showing a ghost paper jam. I tracked it down to a sensor but not worth trying to repair.
Yeah, it's the Document Scanning Position Sensor. Well known challenge with Brother, Just clean the sensors with a 14% rubbing alcohol or a little above 14%.
I have this printer. I have no complaints, it was easy to set up and navigate the menus and connect it to the network. Prints look great and the included starter toner is still going after hundreds of prints. I have found the kits of replacement XL toner at Walmart and they have good reviews and price. I will get those when needed. All in all i love it and will never go back to ink again.
I bought this printer from the Amazon prime deal a few months ago for about $15 more.
One more edit to discuss how loud the printer is - that part surprised me! It's not a supercharged v8 loud but when it's printing, this thing makes a loud fan noise. This is not a deal breaker for us because it lives in our home office and we print wirelessly to it but I would not advise putting it in a central location where you can hear it, the noise would be distracting. If you can handle that, the value proposition and functionality for the price considerably outweighs the old school UI and fan noise in my opinion.
I think what you have is actually the MF656Cdw, that is the one I got for $15 more during Prime Days.
I was also shocked at how freaking loud this thing is! I thought maybe mine had a problem but I guess this is normal for this printer. Never had any office device in my life make this much noise. I have had lots of laser printers and I have no idea why this one is so loud.
I bought this model (or a similar one, slight model number difference) last year and use it almost daily for my business. I've replaced the toner twice, which for what I print and how often I feel is good.
The color and quality is fantastic, and I'm buying a second one today to be my secondary / backup printer.
The guy in the video does it in 5 minutes given the length of the video clip. So, just about anyone who isn't a complete putz can follow these simple instructions and probably can refill in about 10 minutes the first time with a few pauses.
But I get it, if you make $200/hr or more, your time is valuable and you make enough to not even bother dealing with aftermarket toner refills or aftermarket toner cartridges, just buy OEM Canon toner cartridges for $350 since you can afford it.

Point taken. But this is a marketing video, by someone who presumably has done this a bunch of times. And they get to select the best one from several attempts.
Pretty sure if I tried this, it would take much, much longer. And the final result would probably be more toner on me than in the cart. But YMMV.
I have a brother printer and within three years it has started giving issues and when i contacted support they mentioned that they do not have Authorized service centers is texas so i will have to get it fixed through local repair shop
