I picked up a set of these at Lowe's recently for this price and I'm pretty impressed with the fit and finish; definitely a step above average. That said, there appear to be a number of complaints on the Amazon listing in particular about the rails getting busted up in transit (no surprise given how Amazon tends to handle packages), so just be aware of that possibility.

EDIT: To clarify, I was referring to the quality of the sockets themselves. The rail is serviceable, but nothing to write home about.

I have the torx versions of this and the rails are terrible. The magnet on the back is not strong enough to hold to my old school fridge and they just slowly slide down. The plastic part that holds the socket to the tray breaks very easily. I had 3 different sets break just by pulling the socket off the rail. I was really disappointed in the rail quality.

Thanks for pointing that out; I haven't had the rail break on me but it doesn't seem to match the quality of the sockets either. Clarified my original post.

A few months ago I had to rehang a metal gate and worried my 3/8 ratchet would strip, the bolts were so rusted.

1/2" ratchet broke them free.

I replaced the fasteners, they were so bad.

All garage doors are SAE, Table Saws (even the Taiwanese ones), Furnaces, Pinball Machines, Unistrut, and anything you make yourself that you have to buy fasteners for (because SAE bolts are way cheaper than metric).

People have been crying that SAE is going away for 40 years, but real mechanically inclined souls use it every single day.
