How is this compared to the Moro 05? This has a 750w motor but the same nm as the X3 Yamaha motor.

Bosch and Yamaha motors are both good quality. I havent seen any data comparing the two beyond personal preferences

Bosch doesn't make a 750 Watt motor..its a 750Watt battery...the cx line is 250Watt and max delivery is 600 watt...info is at Bosch's website

Looking at components, Moro 05 has much better specs, except for battery.

Moro sales aren't still in play though are they? Big price diff if they are MSRP again.

WheelWorld still has some sales in the price range that I would bite on before this potentially. Depends on the individuals ride / component preferences.

For your comparison pleasure:
https://www.wheelworld.com/produc...t=priceasc

Please refrain from trying to compare watts on motors, they're all too different when it comes to bike config/gearing etc. to do that kind of comparison. Read / watch detailed reviews and visit local dealers. I drove to two shops over an hour away for my purchases.

Ownership disclaimer...
- GasGas Trail 3.0 from wheelworld - $3k
- Yamaha Moro (standard yellow) from Yamaha - $2k

In love with both bikes ... GasGas is mine, Yamaha is for wife / kids who want to ride with. We will see if the prices are as stellar as they seemed as time goes on.

Anything that has a new Smart system Bosch CX motor with a removable 750wh battery + full suspension + dropper seatpost + mullet wheelset + 150mm travel at sub $3k is an insane deal. For those worried about components, those can always be upgraded as/where you see fit and won't hurt as much since you're purchasing the platform (frame + drive unit) at such a low price. Solid deal.

It is not a bad deal but it is the most basic specced eMTB with that caliber of a motor & battery.

I know it is notably more at $3.2k, but I'd take a look at the Polygon Siskiu T7E as the good value full power EMTB these days. That spec for 2.5K would indeed be slick, but even at current sale price, with the Polygon you are getting much more than $700 of upgrades and lots of savings in tools if you were toto do ot yourselves,or labor costs of you did not want to bother.

These things move FAST and deserve a decent suspension &,, brakes & tires.

Since as an early adopter of a electric mountain bike and have invested so much time to purchase the right thing, I will only go with Radpower bikes.

This is a good deal. I got the iconic tr 2 speed because I need it for commuting. Bosch is considered the gold standard for mid drive for ebikes. Super reliable and just works.

The best deal IMO is from bulls directly.

The best deal IMO is the iconic evo tr 1 750. Full suspension with fender, rack, lights, and nice computer screen. It also have the performance cx line smart system for $2499. Free shipping. The only reason I got the evo tr 2 speed because I need to go faster at 28mph to keep up with traffic. There is a hack you can perform to the regular cx line to get it to support higher speeds. But the hack is complicated, costly, and firmware updates can really screw it up.

Note the iconic evo tr 2 speed uses the old system (no smart system) so it does not support the flow app.

Edit:
You can go to flybikeusa to buy the iconic evo tr 1 750 if you want to have them assemble and build for you. They won't charge you anything more if you point them to the bull website. Just know they are servery backed up because of the yamaha fire sale so don't expect to get your bike anytime soon. Expect 2+ weeks so you are not disappointed from order time.

Last year I bought the top of the line Evo AM4 for $3500. Have been riding it for over a year. Love the bike, the drivetrain is very smooth and the Bosch app is very good. Highly recommended. And customer service at Flyrides is great too.

Man, sure looks like competition or lack of demand is driving down eMTB prices. Great time to be a buyer.

We're all set after grabbing some from the Yamaha blowout (not likely to see those prices again). But if not, we'd be looking hard at these and the other deals being offered at wheelworld.

And agree with the Flyrides comments. They're a good shop to deal with. They got totally overwhelmed with demand from the Yamaha sale but are working their way back to normal operations. I'd buy from them again in future.

There is a Flyride shop near me and they are a nice dealer. They are dealers for a number of brands and they have tons of these Bulls. I took the EVO for a test-ride and was very impressed with the power and overall specs. What I didn't love was the geometry and standover height. But if you aren't downhill oriented and want a sweet e-trail bike, this is solid.
