Amazon states that this case contains BPA. Given the amount of time it spends in my hands, I'm concerned: Does BPA absorb through the skin, or is it only harmful when ingested?
I bought a Ringke Onyx for my Pixel 9 and had to return it. Here is the review I left.
"The case seems well made and is a good compromise between the protection offered and a lack of bulk. I really wanted to love this case, unfortunately it has a really poor fit on the top third of the phone (above the power button). It essentially has "bulge" on both upper sides of the phone where you can noticeably feel a gap between the phone and the case. You can also squeeze the case inwards in these sections. It really isn't visibly noticeable but it is impressively annoying and I fear it may cause wear issues on the phone case over time. This may not bother some people that much but I am going to have to return mine."
I have the green one and noticed this too. i wasnt sure if this was by design or a defect? what did you end up replacing it with? i feel like the case offers the best rear camera protection compared to other cases

I am using the Ringke Onyx in Camo with my Pixel 9 pro XL and when people see it they really complement it. But I have also used Caseology for many phone in the past and they have been solid. I will get the clear case with kickstand for that price for sure
i did end up getting the green version a week or so ago so i am still in the return window . but yeah overall i have liked them. i used the black RO for my Pixel 7 when i had it which is why i had gotten it for my pixel 9.

It's usually an issue when it's exposed to extremely higher temps for long periods of times (e.g., black plastic spatula). You should be fine imo
Edit: having said that, if it's a concern of yours and money isn't a problem, consider skipping it. Things should be bpa free

Each brand website has a copy of that page. Otherwise they don't mention each other at all which seems odd.
FWIW, I've owned five Caseology Parallax cases since 2019 and they haven't disappointed me yet. Two of the cases with smooth plastic frames (used on the older design, still being sold for their Moto G & S20 FE listings) cracked at the same spot where the case is thinnest, both times after about two years of daily use. I superglued the second case and am still using it.

It definitely should not have been by design and I'm not sure if the non-magnetic version is any better. I just received the Spigen Liquid Air (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVR4HV2R). It fits much better, but offers less protection for the rear camera. Both cases have a serious flaw in that they do not have a cutout for the speaker on the top edge of the phone. That being said, I'm keeping the Spigen as I haven't found anything better in this price range.
I also have the Latercase Aramid that I got through the vine program - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDDN6CMT. I absolutely love this case, can barely tell it is there and looks great. However, it only offers minimal protection and is very expensive at full price.

Company like Caseology is/was not set up to handle extra volume due to promos. They dropped the ball on shipping and likely had to cancel orders.
They instead took the poison pill and paid Amazon as much as 20%-30% for FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) to fulfill customer orders.
They are likely reducing their profitability - hence not unethical but just bad management / lack of forecasting for demand.
