Be careful with your trade in. I jumped on this deal last time. It took several days to get it to Samsung and then several more days for their tech to look at it. They told me that my old watch was not resetted even though I did do the reset. They asked for proof, but I did not take a video of me resetting the watch. They said their tech could not do the reset. So they denied my trade-in, and returning my old watch. However they said the return Windows has passed so I cannot return the Watch 7. So I have to keep the Watch 7 and they charged me $200 for it. But then they said they will reset my old watch before returning it. But I am scratching my head because they said they can't reset my old watch in the 1st place. And now they are resetting it because the trade in was denied. Huh? I don't get it. I have been a loyal fan with Samsung for many years. I have had many of their premium products. This is stupid and I am done with them.

Sorry for the rant. If you're doing this trade-in. Be sure to take a video of you resetting your device in case they want proof. So you don't end up like my case.

Rule #1. Always pay with a virtual card
Rule #2. Record EVERYTHING. Condition of the watch, resetting, how much it was charged, packaging it.

If you follow these 2, Samsung will almost never do anything.

Also, lately Samsung is taking far too long to get the trade-ins evaluated. From the last deal, mine got delivered to them on Oct 28, and they told me to reach back on Nov 15 if the trade in was still not evaluated. I did reach out and they manually closed the trade in. So don't wait for more than 2 weeks for them to evaluate your device

I don't necessarily believe in lying, but if you tell them you have a video they usually just cave and give you the discount from what I've heard at least

Wonder how much battery improvement from watch 4 classic 46mm to watch7 44mm... and plus other features if it is worth it.

I looked at the woot deal. It won't be delivered until early December. By then, the Black Friday deal would be over.

Battery is much better than Watch 4 classic, and the watch is snappier. You will notice the difference immediately.

Somehow I was able to get even more money off. I did a trade in of my galaxy watch 5 but accidentally added 2 of the watch deals to my cart. One of the deals was $17.50 lower, bringing the $60 discount to a $77.50 discount. I dropped the second watch. Got the 44mm watch at $52.50 pretax

Caution: Sam is overwhelmed with trades. First trade in a few months ago took 5 days to clear. Second trade in a month ago and they didn't even update trade in shipping status. Took 20 nail biting days to be accepted.

If you can, get the 44mm model instead. The main reason is battery life - night and day, the 40mm gave me battery anxiety with constant monitoring to get through 24 hrs with AOD on. No issues with 44mm. Also, the 44mm display size is much more comfortable.
To see how it fits on your wrist, print out the watch band sizing guide from the Samsung store. It includes a true to life outline of the watch.

I have a galaxy watch 5 never used, is it worthy of trade in for watch 7? does galaxy watch 7 work with iphone?
I traded in my 5 Pro for the 44mm 7 and I regret it. My 2 main gripes that are related are:
1) battery life is worse than my 5 Pro. I can go at least 2 days on my 5 Pro but the 7 I have to charge after 1.5 days.
2) I cannot charge my watch using powershare on my Ultra S24 due to larger/better sensors on the 7.

For me, not worth trade. I can't answer the iPhone question but I am sure a quick Google search will answer it for you.

Is this better than watch5 pro, the build quality (titanium) and battery life isgreat for watch 5 pro, but I am wondering if it is worth trading.

I had something similar happen. They said they couldn't turn my watch on. My watch was in mint condition. Luckily they changed their minds almost immediately [weird] but still definitely record everything just in case.

What's the advantage of this over a Garmin like my Venu 2? It seems like it has basically the same features but with a 12-24 hour battery life instead of the 10-15 days I get on the Venu..

As a galaxy owner for the last decade, Samsung truly has the absolute worst customer support
